Saints and Sinners
Saints and Sinners took quite a while until both Keith and I were finally happy with the end result. Unlike for instance 'You're just a bad dream', that just flowed from the writing pen.
Right from the first arrangement of 'Saints and Sinners' Keith and I knew we had gold in our hands. The riffs, the vocal melodies, the groove, it was all very catchy to us. One might not hear it immediately, but there are lots of minor details in the song that kept us working on the song for maybe 1,5 years. Keith and I are perfectionists and we take nothing for granted. We kept ourselves busy with changes, that trigger new changes and again new changes. All because we wanted to be perfect. Important is however to keep it fresh, and that is exactly what we managed to do. In our opinion at least.

What helped to make it so fresh and firing is Gus G.'s guest contribution. Gus is an absolute beast and added some high level shred to the song. Gus was already high on my wishlist for the 'Rise' album, but now he was finally available, and I'm super proud to have Gus on board of the 'Here to Stay' album.
