During my 2018 holiday in Portugal I spent every morning from 6AM composing songs, sitting on my terrace at the beach in Santa Cruz. That is where the basics for "From your mouth" were written. The drum parts were there first, inspired by the more jazz-hard-rock type of drummers like Virgil Donati and Dave Weckl. Not the straightforward rock beat, but a bit more complex patterns were put in. The type of beat that is difficult to play live.

Similar to "Stories", when all music was finished, the big question was what to do with the vocals? What style, who should sing?
And again the solution came from Chris Clancy. He did another amazing job, and did the perfect vocal over this typical song. Chris reached out to his huge spectrum of styles and just did the perfect vocals, with the right emotion at the right time. Great professional worker!

The amazing guitar solo was played by Joey Concepcion who actually recorded it over a very sloppy demo version, which makes the speed and preciseness of timing even more spectacular.
