Hysteria

Hysteria is dedicated to my lifelong friend Luc. We go back a long time and have played in a band in the 80's. Luc is a good bass player, but at some point he told me he could not master the bass licks from the Muse song 'Hysteria'. Honestly I had never heard the song nor any Muse song.

When listening to the song I noticed that it is a great song, but in constant 'overdrive'. I wondered what would happen when making a cover version with more dynamics. And here it is!

I changed the role of the bass, by swapping the bass line to guitar and piano, which adds a lot to the creation of dynamics.

The absolute star of the song is Timo Somers who added some amazing guitar solos, just incredible work!
